Refund Policy:

At DinosauriaThings, every plushie and handmade creation is crafted with care and attention to detail. Because of this, all sales are final.

No Refunds or Exchanges

  • We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges once an order has been placed.

  • Please double-check your item selection, color choices, and shipping information before completing your order.

If There’s a Problem With Your Order

Your satisfaction is important to us!
If you receive an item that is damaged, incorrect, or has any issues, you must contact me within 48 hours of receiving your package.

Once contacted:

  • I will review the situation,

  • request photos if needed,

  • and work with you directly to determine the best solution.

A refund, replacement, or resolution is only issued after I have personally reviewed and approved the request.

Handmade Disclaimer

All products are handmade and may have slight variations in size, shape, or appearance. These variations are not considered defects.

Crochet Items:

DinosauriaThings is NOT a warehouse or a retail store.
There are no supplies, patterns, or pre-made inventory stored on shelves.
Each item is:

  • Individually hand-crocheted,

  • Made with high-quality yarns and materials,

  • Created in a small-business environment filled with love, creativity, and character.

You can be confident that your plushie is a unique, long-lasting, handmade creation—crafted just for you.

Safety Notice:

Please be aware that crochet items are not intended for infants or babies who put objects in their mouths.
Many of my creations include safety eyes and small parts, which can pose a choking hazard.

If you choose to purchase an item for a baby or a child who is prone to mouthing objects:

  • You do so at your own risk,

  • Constant adult supervision is required, and

  • The item should never be left with a child unsupervised.

DinosauriaThings assumes NO responsibility for misuse or unsupervised handling of any crochet item.

Handmade Quality & Return Policy

Every plushie and character is handmade with care, personality, and attention to detail.
Because of the time, materials, and labor involved, returns are not accepted.

However, your happiness matters! If there is ever an issue with your order: Please message me directly.
I thoroughly inspect each item before shipping, and I take great pride in my work—issues are rare, but I will always do my best to help resolve any concerns.

Payment options:

Debit or Credit Card Payments

All debit and credit card payments are processed as standard transactions through our secure payment system.

Please note:

  • I am a small business, and I do NOT tolerate chargebacks or fraudulent purchases.

  • Any customer who files a false chargeback, attempts fraud, or submits a fake purchase will be permanently banned from placing future orders.

  • If there is ever an issue with your order, please contact me directly so I can help resolve it.

Custom Order Payments

Once your custom order details are finalized, I will send an invoice via email through my shop’s secure payment processor.

  • You may pay using debit or credit card through the invoice.

  • After payment is received, you will be provided with a receipt via email.

  • Work will not begin on custom orders until payment has been fully processed.

Afterpay

You can shop the website using Afterpay as an installment option.

With Afterpay:

  • Your purchase is split into 4 payments over 6 weeks

  • No external credit check

  • No interest

  • No fees when payments are made on time

  • A simple, budget-friendly way to get the items you love without stress.

Custom Order Policy:

Please Read Before Placing a Custom Order

When you place a custom order with me, please remember that I am one person—not a factory. Every item is handmade with time, care, and attention. I primarily work on custom orders during weekdays, and I value time with my family, especially on weekends and holidays.

To help me bring your vision to life, please provide as much detail as possible in your custom order request. The more information you share, the better I can understand what you want—and determine if I can fulfill the request.
I cannot read minds, so details are extremely important!

I communicate only through email, so please check your inbox and junk folders for updates or questions regarding your order.

Payment & Refunds for Custom Orders

  • Custom orders will receive an invoice through my shop’s payment system (unless another payment method is arranged).

  • Once payment is received and I begin working on your order, refunds are NOT allowed.

  • No refunds will be issued on custom orders under any circumstance, unless I state otherwise.

  • If you request add-ons, changes, or extras, additional fees will apply and must be paid before work continues.

Processing Time for Custom Orders

Custom orders typically have a processing time of 14 days to 4 weeks.
This timeframe allows me to:

  1. Process your payment

  2. Gather all necessary supplies

  3. Order additional materials if needed

  4. Begin the creation process without delay

Please note:

  • Additional time may be required depending on the complexity of your request.

  • Processing time does NOT include shipping time.

Shipping Information

Once your custom order is complete and shipped, I will provide your shipping and tracking information.
After an item has been shipped, it is out of my hands, and I am not responsible for delays, lost packages, or carrier issues.

Defective Items:

You must contact me within 3 days of the delivery date if you discover a defect.
Please include the following in your message:

  • Your full name

  • Your order number

  • A clear photo of the defective area/item

Evaluation & Approval

Once reviewed, if I determine the issue was caused by my craftsmanship:

  • A prepaid return label will be issued.

  • The item must be shipped back in order to complete the exchange.

  • Upon receipt, a replacement item will be created and shipped at no cost to you.

Important Notes

  • Items reported after the 3rd day from delivery are not eligible for exchange.

  • Return shipping for approved defective items is free.

  • Standard shipping for the replacement is also free.

  • If you request faster shipping for the replacement, the upgraded shipping cost is the customer’s responsibility, not DinosauriaThings.

Shipping Policy:

Processing Time
Due to the high volume of packages handled by shipping carriers, delays may occur.
We do our best to process and prepare your order within 24–48 hours after purchase.

Please note:

  • Processing time does NOT include carrier shipping time.

  • Processing time may be longer during holidays, weekends, or non-business days.

  • Orders are shipped Monday through Friday only.

  • Orders placed on weekends will begin processing the following Monday (or next business day if Monday is a holiday).

All packages are shipped in the order they are received.

Shipping Costs
Shipping costs vary based on:

  • Weight

  • Volume/size

  • Postal code

  • Shipping method

These rates are automatically calculated at checkout.

Responsibility After Shipment
Once your order has been shipped and accepted by the carrier, DinosauriaThings is no longer responsible for the package.
This includes items that become:

  • Lost

  • Delayed

  • Damaged

  • Misdelivered

  • Stolen after delivery

There are no refunds, returns, or exchanges for lost or damaged items once they are in the carrier’s possession. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

Lost or Damaged Packages
If your item is lost or damaged during transit, please file a claim directly with USPS:

You may need to provide:

  • A copy of your receipt (sent to your email)

  • Your tracking number

  • Photos of damage (if applicable)

I’m always happy to assist by providing any needed information for your claim, but DinosauriaThings cannot issue replacements, refunds, or exchanges for carrier-related issues.

Incorrect Shipping Info.:

Please ensure all shipping information is accurate before completing your purchase. DinosauriaThings is not responsible for any packages delivered to an incorrect address that was provided by the customer at checkout.

Address Corrections

If you notice an error in your shipping address, you must contact me within 6–12 hours of purchase so the correction can be made before the order is processed.

Returned Packages

If a package is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer:

  • The customer is responsible for the re-delivery cost, and

  • The package will not be resent until the re-shipment fee is paid.

Please double-check your address before placing your order to prevent delays or additional fees.

Lost or Stolen Info.:

Once your package has been shipped and marked as delivered by the carrier, it is no longer within my control.
DinosauriaThings is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misdelivered packages, including those that may be taken from mailboxes, porches, or delivery areas.

If your package is lost or stolen, you will need to:

  • File a claim directly with the shipping carrier, and

  • Provide your tracking number and delivery details.

I will always do my best to guide you through the process, but replacements or refunds cannot be issued for lost or stolen packages.
